Children’s Sabbath Manuals are coming!
We will be receiving our shipment of Children’s Sabbath manuals sometime next week and then we can begin sending them out to you.  If you would like a 2009 Children’s Sabbath manual, there are two ways you can get one for your congregation.  You can This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it us and request a free hard copy, or Children's Defense Fund has a pdf version of the manual available for you to download.  By downloading the manual you save us money on postage, which we can put to better use.

This year’s theme, Create Change for Children Today: Bring Hope and a Better Tomorrow focuses on children in poverty, children’s health care, and the pipeline to prison.  In this time of economic hardship, it is more important than ever to insure that our children do not fall through the cracks. Children’s Sabbath is a great way to get your congregation aware of and involved in children’s issues. Join congregations across the country that will be participating in the National Observation of Children’s Sabbath. See our website for more information about Children’s Sabbath and to find stories from congregations who have participated in the past.

Support iCAN
We offer resources like the Children’s Sabbath manual free of charge through a generous partnership with the Children's Defense Fund and through gifts from people like you. Help provide more information that helps you and your faith community advocate for children within your communities and with your legislators. Please donate or become a sponsor of iCAN so we can continue to support you and build our network of advocates.
